From the moment you arrive at Athens Wine Tasting you will know you are in good hands. You will be greeted warmly by our team and get settled in. After meeting the local wine connoisseur, you will receive a great overview of the Greek wine region, with maps and charts you will take a virtual tour through the wine regions of Greece ,taste 5 basic Greek grapes and understand how different grapes and the diverse terroir of the country have led to the vast number of varieties of wine produced.
Paired with artisanal Greek cheeses and delicacies you will discover the incredible flavors that can be created simply by combining different wines.
Still water and Greek traditional rusks will be available as palette cleansers. The wine ambassador will be happy to share his love and passion for wine and answer all your questions. A treat for the senses and the mind, you will finish up your tasting feeling more confident in understanding the different wines, thanks to what you‘ve learned and the varieties of wines that you have tasted.

Join us in this 1,5 hour tour of the most significant Greek monument, the Acropolis of Athens!
During this informative tour, we will learn all about the rich history of Athens and Greek culture and be equipped with a great overview of the city.
Together with a licensed tour guide, we will visit the archaeological site and slopes of the Acropolis hill and marvel at the Parthenon and other fascinating monuments of ancient Athens, while enjoying a one-of-a-kind panoramic view of the city.
Entrance tickets for the Acropolis are NOT included.
Théâtre grec antique en plein air
We will meet at the rooftop of the Webster University Library & Cultural Center, right beneath the Acropolis and next to the Roman Agora, where you will first watch a short introduction to the Ancient Greek Theatre and then you will have the chance to watch up close the adventures of a present day tourist in Ancient Athens. In 60 minutes and in the most entertaining way, you will get to know six major works of Ancient Greek literature compiled in a seamless whole. Children (from 8 years old) will love the use of 24 handmade masks during the performance
Other things to note
The performance takes place in a magical rooftop, right beneath the Acropolis and next to the Roman Agora. With the theatre ticket each visitor will get a glass of wine, for adults and a bottle of water, for children.

Our cat-walk starts near the foothill of Acropolis where we meet our first sociable kitties, get to know their names and their backstories. Freddie and his siblings will welcome you to their area, while Kolovos -our tuxedo boy- will enjoy your petting! We continue our walk through a park where we will meet fluffy Swiffer & Bengal boy who will lure you with their charms together with their feline friends! Strolling through the quiet streets of this neighborhood we find out that every block has a small colony of cats, like chatty Nala and shy Simba ready to still your hearts. We continue our walk towards another park and find our last colony where will meet Gazelle and her best buddy Billy Ray, among others.

Our experience will start very close to the Acropolis metro station, and it will take us through some of the narrow-weaving streets of Plaka, the picturesque old neighborhood at the foothill of the Acropolis hill.
We will continue our walk towards one of the most panoramic spots in the area, where we will enjoy our second shot with a five stars view.
The experience includes fun facts, and local perspectives of modern life in Athens, and, of course, local drinks!
We will end in the vibrant Monastiraki and Psyrri neighborhoods - that's where all the locals hang out! And yes, we do have recommendations and tips for you :)

Taste the most local food in Athens. Skip the tourist traps and discover the local bites of the Greek culture. More than 14 traditional, delicious, freshly cooked tastings. We will be walking in the heart of central Athens, where Athenians do their shopping for the daily meal.
We will introduce you to the vendors of our favorite local shops, share traditional breakfast delicacies, smell and learn about herbs and spices, visit a deli shop to taste the original honey glazed yoghurt and take you to the magical word of olives. Also, one of the best Greek traditional restaurants (mageirio) will be accommodating you for a seated lunch, cheese tasting and of course, you'll try a dessert.
During the walk, you'll meet our old friends in the oldest vegetable, fish and meat market of Athens and you'll also try our best wines and distillates of the region.
Get the chance to know how to cook all the dishes you will try, and get local insight into recipes, tips for Athens, the islands and the culinary traditions.

From the moment you arrive at Athens Wine Tasting you will know you are in good hands. You will be greeted warmly by our team and get settled in. After meeting the local wine connoisseur, you will receive a great overview of the Greek wine region, with maps and charts you will take a virtual tour through the wine regions of Greece ,taste 5 basic Greek grapes and understand how different grapes and the diverse terroir of the country have led to the vast number of varieties of wine produced.
Paired with artisanal Greek cheeses and delicacies you will discover the incredible flavors that can be created simply by combining different wines.
Still water and Greek traditional rusks will be available as palette cleansers. The wine ambassador will be happy to share his love and passion for wine and answer all your questions. A treat for the senses and the mind, you will finish up your tasting feeling more confident in understanding the different wines, thanks to what you‘ve learned and the varieties of wines that you have tasted.

Athènes : cours de cuisine et dîner sur le toit
In this traditional 5-course cooking experience, you will learn how to make some of the most authentic Greek dishes, such as the Greek Moussaka and the classic Greek phyllo dough Spanakopita (Spinach pie), by opening your own phyllo.
We will also prepare a variation of the well-known Greek Salad inspired by the Greek islands and the famous Greek yogurt Tzatziki sauce.
Our dessert will be the original homemade Galatopita (Milk pie).
We'll start preparing the ingredients we will need, while talking about Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
When the dishes are ready, we will savor our meal together at the patio admiring the Acropolis Monuments and the eternal Parthenon temple, overlooking the dome of Aghios Dimitrios church.
Our kitchen is a few steps away from Monastiraki Square in the funky neighborhood of Psirri. We will meet on the rooftop terrace and cook with amazing views of the vivid center of Athens.
